The cast of PETER AND THE WOLF travelled to the Star Of The Sea Primary School in Rockingham on 25 May.  They entertained around 300 children who were fascinated by the characters and the music.  Some of the students bravely acted as Hunters and had to 'shoot' their toy rifles at the Wolf.  The young students had many questions to ask afterwards and it was apparent that they all enjoyed the show.

The cast had another chance of entertaining more students on 23 July at St Mary's College and they had the same response - smiling faces, laughter and expressions of wonderment.  There were also some very interesting questions from the young students afterwards.

The School Holiday production of PETER PAN AND WENDY in July at the Leederville Town Hall was a "sell out" success.  You can see photos from the shows in the photo galleries.  The cast are pictured here when they visited the Peter Pan statue in Queen's Gardens.  The statue is a replica of the Kensington Gardens London statue and is signed by J.M. Barrie.  It was presented to the children of WA in 1927.

Due to the overwhelming demand from the public for PETER PAN AND WENDY, it will be re-staged at the Saw Avenue Amphitheatre in Kings Park in January.  Tickets are now on sale so book early to avoid disappointment.  Take your picnic hamper and have a wonderful afternoon under the trees.  Get your friends and relatives to join you.

In January will be the spectacular Perth City Ballet production of the ballet LA SYLPHIDE at the Quarry Amphitheatre.  This is a two-act ballet set in Scotland with the lead role danced by Tatiana Pevneva.  Other lead roles will be danced by guest artists.  Tickets ARE NOW ON SALE via BOCS TICKETING, so book early to avoid disappointment.
