Prompt Corner presents the wonderful tale of Dorothy and her dog, Toto in the Land of Oz when it comes to life again in January 2012 in the Kings Park Saw Avenue Amphitheatre.They are just two of the lovable characters in this well-known show. Others are, of course, Tinman, Scarecrow and the cowardly Lion, but don't be surprised if the Wizard is not as frightening as you would expect.
This delightful show will entertain the whole family and children can come dressed as one of the characters if they like.
Bring your picnic rug and chairs and some light snacks and enjoy the ambience of entertainment in a splendid outdoor setting.
The performances are from 6th to 22nd January at 4.30pm daily (except Mondays).

Perth City Ballet will present Shakespeare's great love tragedy, ROMEO & JULIET at the Quarry Amphitheatre from 18-21 January, 2012, nightly at 8.00pm.Directed by Diana Waldron, this production is a stunningly beautiful realization in dance of the world's best known love story set to Prokofiev's exciting and haunting music.
This will be a true love story with the star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet, danced by husband and wife, Sergey Pevnev and Fiona Evans, who appear courtesy West Australian Ballet.
Sergey has starred in recent seasons with Perth City Ballet in Giselle, La Sylphide and Cinderella. The company is delighted to have him dancing again in this magical production.
Patrons can enjoy the performance under the stars with a picnic at the magnificent Quarry Amphitheatre.
